Continental Sweet Corn
Hmmmm…, We love to eat sweet corn in different ways and today I’m gonna talk about continental sweet corn. This is a very unique and simple recipe which came to my mind on a weekend when I was struggling to decide my weekend menu.
I am sharing what I found that day, hope you will like it too.
- Vegetable oil
- Cumin seeds
- Big green chilli (ŏne)
- Sweet corns
- Soy sauce
- Turmeric powder
Heat the oil on a pan then add cumin seeds into it. Fry for 2 to 3 seconds and add chopped onions. Fry those chopped onions until its get brown. Now, add chopped tomatoes,capsicums and that big green chilli. Cooked nicely for 2 to 3 minutes. Once they are getting soft and you start getting the smell of green chilli, add sweet corns and cook for more 2 to 3 minutes. Add salt* as per your taste and turmeric powder too. Mix them nicely. Now, add one or two cup of water and cover it for 3 to 5 minutes.
Now, once your vegetables are cooked well, add soy sauce and mix it well. Your Continental Sweet Corn is ready to serve.
This dish will better go with rice than bread. Try this at your home and get back to me.
* One thing you should remember while adding salt that you are going to add soy sauce which is a salty component, so while adding salt you have to keep it in mind. Otherwise, your dish will be too salty.
