We are in the mood of celebration as we have entered 2019. Let’s make it more sweeter with a sweet recipe. In this new year season I am going to gift you a Phirni recipe.
A) 1 liter milk
E) Cardamon or Cardamom powder
The recipe of making Phirni is pretty simple and easy. Rice and milk are the prime components of this dessert.
Take a cup of rice and soak it in normal water for 30 minutes. Then ground it properly.
Now, you have to boil 1 liter milk in a kadai. Add ground rice and sugar (as per your taste). Stir them nicely. Once it gets thicker, add cardamom powder and turn off the flame.
Your Phirni is ready but you have to do some garnishing to make it more attractive and interesting. Now heat some sugar on a pan and do not use water on it. Heat will melt the solid sugar and give it a reddish look.
Now, you have to take a plate and brush it with butter. Then, do some design with the liquid caramel sugar and let it dry.
Once it will get dry, you will get the prominent shape of caramel sugar (see image). Now, take them out and garnish your Phirni. Phirni is very easy rice pudding which will give you an Indo- Arabian taste.
