Walking down those hilly stoned narrow paths inside the park is an adventurous experience. Every minute you will be able to see some new flowers or plants saying you hi. Your every careful step will take you to a different ambiance. Sounds of different insects and birds will make you stop for a while and think. Forest guards will guide you on the way and if you ask them they will share some of their memories of human animal encounters.

Reptiles and amphibians: The endangered Himalayan newt frequents the region and congregates around the lakes of Jore Pokhri and Sukhiapokhri and nearby lakes to reproduce. Jore Pokhri and Sukhiapokhri are within 20 km of the park boundary and are protected wildlife sanctuaries.
