I can’t forget this place as I have spent my important 1 and half year next to it. Bangalore Palace was actually a property of Rev. Garrett. Later on, the British Guardians of the minor Maharaja Chamarajendra Wadiyar X purchased it and then transformed it into a palace.

Bangalore Palace is situated at Vasanthanagara, which is very close to Chief Minister’s residence.

Kempe Gowda’s Bangalore fort is another attraction of the city. If you are a history lover then this is a perfect place to visit in Bengaluru. This was a mud fort, made by Vijayanagara Empire Nadaprabhu Hiriya Kempe Gowda. Later on, Mysore ruler Hyder Ali transformed it into a granite fort.

5) Lalbagh Botanical Garden

You can explain this place as the lush green paradise of the garden city. Once this Lalbagh Botanical Garden was the Mughal style private garden of Hyder Ali. Now, The Government of Karnataka has expanded its area and made it as a public visiting place. This is a nice place to spend your weekend after a busy week. Every year the Government of Karnataka organizes two flower shows in this garden during the week of Indian Independent Day and Republic Day.

Lalbagh Botanical Garden is in Mavalli, Bengaluru.
