My Love For Hand-loom
7th August 2025 was the International Hand-loom Day. On that occasion I was invited to an event of IFM Academy Siliguri. I am so particular about such programmes and always try to match well with the concept of the occasion. I am also a hand-loom collector. My family understands hand-loom, and we keep different types of them.

Recently I bought a Rajbangshi handloom, called Patani from Tribes India store in Colaba, Mumbai. On that special day, I felt like this could be an amazing fit. So, I wore that Rajbangshi hand-loom piece as a skirt and matched that with a crop top. My jewellery of the day actually borrowed from my mum, which is a Naga bead, handmade jewellery set. I wanted to wear something comfortable, so I wore my beige loafers. My handbag was another piece of handcraft, as it’s made of kauna grass and indeed made by hand people of Nagaland.
