This Place Talks About Lepcha People in Kalimpong

It was a pleasant evening. We were walking down those hilly paths, confused on our way to a place that talks about the life and culture of the Lepcha Community. When the Sun was a bit heavier before saying goodbye, we found a shopkeeper to guide our way to the Lepcha Gumba Museum in Kalimpong.

Lepcha Gumba Museum is a place where one can see original Lepcha musical instruments, items of worship and handicraft items. This is the only Lepcha Museum in India. This one was founded by Padmasree Sonom Tshering Lepcha. There is also a Lepcha Gumba, and the prayer hall of the Gumba is on the 1st floor of the same building the Museum is.

This place is serene, picture perfect, peaceful, and spiritual. Every moment spent there feels refreshing and new. People who all are into gaining more knowledge, love to explore different cultures; this is indeed a must-visit place for them.
