My Simple But Happy Birthday

Things have changed a lot this year. If I look back, the start of the year was very different. But, yeah, things have started to change slowly. Though, it was a very private celebration this year on 4th August. My sister is in Mumbai, so we had to celebrate this special day separately. But still, this year’s birthday was special.

I have received many beautiful messages and gifts from you all. I am really thankful for your kind words and supports. Furthermore, I am also thankful to my parents and sister to support me on my work. I am also thankful to my sponsors and working partners. You all are very, very precious to me, and I am really grateful to have you all.

I wanted to share this day with my family and yes I did so. My mom prepared a cake for me, and it was her 1st successful cake. In the evening, I wore my Flipkart full sleeve – pencil fit dress and a pair of block heel peep toes.  It was a family celebration, where we did the cake cutting and paesh ceremony, as paesh is very auspicious food item in Bengali culture, and we keep this item in every occasion.
