A Sunday

I work from home. I mostly meet people over VC and some in person. It made me fall into a specific pattern, and I feel lazy to go out. My shopping is mostly online since I returned from Mumbai in February this year. But lately, I am craving to go out and explore. Be it shopping or even a day trip. I am kind of looking for opportunities. On this Sunday, I could not stop myself from going out for shopping. Moreover, those amazing discounts during Black Friday attracted me like a magnet.

A day back, one of my astrological clients informed me about the ongoing sale, and I found it alluring.

I thought it would be a nice day out and shopping together on a Sunday. So, I did not take any booking for the day for a Vedic consultation and made this day free from work.

You may get surprised, knowing that there are fewer people who feel comfortable going out with me. Though the reason is unknown, I feel some type of insecurity plays a role here on their part. So, I took my mum with me for the shopping.

We explored two shopping malls in Siliguri; one is Vega Circle and the other one is Cosmos Mall. We went to Vega Circle mainly for H&M. It has an amazing policy, where you can give your old clothes and get fifteen percent discount in return. You just need to bring a  medium-sized shopping bag with a minimum of five clothes for the same. We roam around the mall, where many big brands have sheltered their amazing products. We had a cup of coffee each and then went to Cosmos mall.

Cosmos mall is the very old one in Siliguri, and we walked straight to Reliance Central.  This huge store is a combination of different premium category brands. I mainly went there to buy from Levi’s and The Bear House. It was indeed my shopping before the winter, and jeans were in my mind for the coming chillier days. The staff are very friendly and attentive; it also has a free alteration policy, and you can get your product back within 30 minutes. Amazing right!. I really enjoyed shopping there.

As it took a lot of time, and it was already 7:30 pm, we decided to have dinner outside. I wanted to have something warm, healthy, and high protein as the temperature is already cool here. So, we had Taipo, a Tibetan item.

What I Wore

It is late autumn; the weather is cooler, and I am in love with leopard print. I match my full sleeve leopard print top with my mocha brown formal pant. My shoes were my comfort beige loafers. For accessories, I went with a pair of silver-coloured statement earrings and matching bangle. My brown-coloured side bag was my best friend of the day.
